Peer Review Process

JSBET employs a strict Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the highest quality of academic integrity.

  1. Desk Review: Upon submission, the Editor-in-Chief evaluates the manuscript for compliance with the journal's scope and guidelines. Manuscripts that fail to meet these criteria are rejected without review.
  2. Reviewer Assignment: Manuscripts passing the desk review are assigned to at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
  3. Blind Review: The reviewers act anonymously, and the author's identity is concealed from the reviewers.
  4. Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor will make one of the following decisions:
    • Accept Submission
    • Revisions Required (Minor or Major)
    • Resubmit for Review
    • Decline Submission
  5. Timeline: Authors can expect a notification of the first decision within 4–6 weeks of submission.
